Inditex brings Stradivarius to UK

Spanish fashion group Inditex is bringing its womenswear business Stradivarius to the UK this year, having signed for a store at Westfield Stratford.

This will be the first time in six years that Inditex – which owns Zara, Pull & Bear, Bershka and Massimo Dutti, among other brands – has launched one of its retailers in the UK, according to the Evening Standard.

Stradivarius, aimed at women aged between 20 and 35, is in 60 countries across the globe, including China, Russia and Saudi Arabia. It has total sales of more than €1bn (£813m).

Last autumn, Inditex launched a UK website for Stradivarius featuring photos, lookbooks and videos that allowed users to shop its latest collection.
