Social media platform Instagram is launching three new shopping updates in a bid to give customers a more seamless experience when doing their Christmas shopping.
Brands will be able to tag products in videos. Instagram is also redesigning the “shop tab” on brands’ pages to make it easier to find products.
Consumers who find a specific product via the platform’s shopping tags will also be able to save them to their “Shopping” collection, allowing them to easily find the item at a later date.
The new functions come after Instagram expanded its shopping function to include Instagram Stories in June.
