Value fashion chain Internaçionale’s intellectual property assets, including its trademark, customer database and website content, have been put up for sale.
The 89-store, Glasgow-based retailer went into administration in February.
Intellectual property specialists Metis Partners have been appointed to coordinate the marketing of its assets on the instruction of the joint administrators, Lyn Leon Vardy, Toby Scott Underwood and John Bruce Cartwright of PricewaterhouseCoopers, who were appointed in April.
The sale will involve Internaçionale’s registered UK and EC trademarks and unregistered trademarks. Offers will be accepted from now until midday on August 8.
“We anticipate strong interest from fashion retail professionals and brand acquisition experts,” said a spokesman for Metis.
