Intimas pulls out of Harrogate Lingerie show

Intimas, which owns lingerie brands Lepel, Charnos and Discover Mademoiselle, will not show at the Harrogate Lingerie & Swimwear exhibition next year.

Intimas will not show at Harrogate for the autumn 09 show, which will take place from February 22-24.

Intimas will be presenting its autumn 09 collections across the UK via regional shows, with dates, venues and formats of the show yet to be announced.

Intimas group brand director Jane Denereaz said: “The Intimas brands enjoy very strong relationships with their customers and the independent retailer represents the heartland of our business.”

She added: “Showing our brands regionally, and therefore withdrawing from the Harrogate Exhibition, will enable us to give more focus to those retailers through our sales teams. 2009 will be about supporting our customers and taking the brands to them.”
