The deal, which was completed following the Brexit vote on June 23, is part of UK & European Investments’ ongoing redevelopment of Stratford-upon-Avon town centre, adding to the company’s existing holding on the adjacent Town Square and Bell Court areas.

The redeveloped Bell Court, which will deliver over 70,000 sq foot of retail and leisure space, is set to open in 2017.

Earlier this week it was revealed that the family office of H&M chairman Stefan Persson was the mystery buyer of Debenhams’ Oxford Street unit.
