IRO to open debut UK store

French fashion brand IRO is to open its first UK store, at Brompton Cross in West London.

The luxury Parisian business’ first shop in the UK is a 1,500 sq ft uniit, which will open this summer.

IRO will join other high-end retailers such as Philip Lim, Carven, Carolina Herrera, J Crew Women, Maje and Sandro in the area between Kensington and Knightsbridge.

Launched in 2004 by brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton, IRO is looking to open three or four additional stores across London and the UK in the near future, and is advised by Cushman & Wakefield. It currently has 76 concessions and 10 stores across 40 countries.

Natalie Lintott, partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s central London retail team, said: “IRO’s edgy appeal will ensure success in Brompton Cross – the brand fits perfectly into the eclectic and upmarket tenant mix in the area.”
