Italian young fashion brand set for UK invasion

Italian young fashion chain Brandy Melville is poised to open its first store in the UK.

According to The Independent the women’s retailer, which has more than 40 stores in Europe and 10 in the US, will open its first UK store this autumn at 33 King’s Road in London.

But according tot he retailer this is just the first of a wider push into the UK market.

Marc Dorde, managing director of Brandy Melville in Europe, said: “Opening in King’s Road is the first step. Soon we will be looking for a flagship in Covent Garden, followed by Cambridge, Oxford and more.”

The young fashion retailer has hired property agent Kitchen La Frenais Morgan to scout out possible sites across the UK.
