American brand J Crew is planning to make Brompton Cross the location of its third London store, set to open this autumn.
The womenswear boutique will set up stall on Draycott Avenue, in Kensington and Chelsea, in early November. It will house limited-edition pieces from the J Crew Collection and an edited assortment of Italian cashmere, jewellery, handbags and shoes.
The boutique will also offer exclusive designs from partners such as Comme des Garçons as well as hats designed by Sex And The City stylist Patricia Field, and boots by Penelope Chilvers.
It will offer an assortment of J.Crew’s Ludlow Suiting, as well as other haberdashery and exclusive brand partners including Thomas Mason, London Undercover, HanKjobenhavn, M&P Timepieces, Corgi and Begg & Co.
Chairman and chief executive Millard Drexler said: “I love that every neighborhood throughout London has its own unique personality – it’s a lot like New York City in that way. After a lot of looking around and visiting various areas, we came across these two very different locations and knew – both were too good to pass up.”
The American retailer will open the doors of its Regent Street flagship on November 1.
