Jacket Required founders launch new London show

Jacket Required founders Mark Batista and Craig Ford are launching a second London-based trade show.

S London will showcase selected streetwear, sportswear and skate brands using the same curated approach as the menswear show, to create “a focused and unique event”.

S London will be run in collaboration with Carl Burnham, owner of Spiv Agency, and Brad Farrant of Make Room Agency.

The first edition will run alongside Jacket Required from July 31 to August 1 at The Boiler House in east London’s Brick Lane. It will house 40 brands, including the European launch of the New Balance Numeric Skate shoes.

Burnham said: “After working with Jacket Required showcasing various brands we felt the British street, sport and skate market needed a similar platform, and both felt the time was right to do this. The obvious decision was to work with our friends at Jacket Required who have the expertise in producing a quality trade show and applying their vision to a show that caters specifically to the street, sport and skate sector”
