Jacobson Group recruits manager for London office

Footwear supplier Jacobson Group has hired former Li & Fung category manager Victoria Dunlop as key account manager to spearhead changes at its London office.

Jacobson Group opened its London office, on Wells Street near Oxford Street, in 2010 as a design hub. Its headquarters are in Rawtenstall, Lancashire. However, the company said that “Victoria’s appointment sees the office more fully utilised offering a complete design, development and sales function.” The structure “will help to streamline the whole process in the made-to-order fashion area of the business,” it said.

Jacobson Group’s brands include Gola, Dunlop and Ravel.

Dunlop’s appointment, a newly-created role, is effective immediately. She previously spent 13 years at Li & Fung, where she was a footwear category manager, and before that worked at Pentland Brands and River Island.

Jacobson Group sales director Tim Couchman said: “Victoria’s appointment together with this investment gives us the perfect platform to progress our fashion business with a dedicated team of professionals, enabling us to provide a comprehensive service from design through to delivery.”

  • Maybe she will want to buy some of the Famous Footwear stock that they left us with when they shut their shops!
