Jacques Vert Group has changed the responsibilities of brand director Amanda Lester and merchandising director Sarah Morgan, as part of an ongoing review of its management structure.
Lester, who has been group brand director since 2005, is now responsible for buying, merchandising, design and quality for brands Jacques Vert, Precis Petite, Kaliko, Windsmoor and Colebrooke by Windsmoor. Her job title remains the same.
Morgan, who has been merchandising director since November 2013, has been moved to the role of brand director for Dash, Eastex and Planet, and will also oversee buying, merchandising, design and quality for these brands – effectively splitting JVG’s portfolio between the two.
As reported by Drapers earlier this month, former JVG merchandising director Mike Halliday has left the womenswear retailer after 26 years, while group trading director Sarah Morris is set to depart at the beginning of April after two years.
Teresa Tideman, who joined JVG as chief executive in 2013, said the management review was designed to give “clearer brand accountability”.
