Jacques Vert seeks to grow labels

Jacques Vert-owned labels Planet and Precis Petite will open new concessions in two House of Fraser stores as part of a company-wide expansion and refit project.

Womenswear label Planet and premium petite brand Precis Petite will unveil a concession in House of Fraser's London Oxford Street and Manchester stores in early April, which will take Jacques Vert's number of HoF concessions to 39.

Jacques Vert plans to focus on London and the south-east and will open one concession a week across its portfolio of brands, which also includes womenswear label Windsmoor.

The company has already kicked off its refit strategy with new shopfits for all new stores and concessions, which will include the latest Planet and Precis Petite concessions. Both will house the brands' spring 07 collections.

Planet's range focuses on tailoring and rich textures and colours, while Precis Petite's offer is inspired by 1950s film stars. Sizes range from eight to 18 for both labels.

Jacques Vert has 950 concessions, 25 standalones and 19 clearance stores in the UK.
