Jaeger appoints Stuart Stockdale as design director

Jaeger has appointed Stuart Stockdale as design director to build on Jaeger’s repositioning as a luxury brand.

Stuart Stockdale, a graduate from London design college Central St. Martins, has previously held roles at Pringle, J Crew in New York, Jean-Paul Gaultier in Paris, Romeo Gigli in Milan and Holliday & Brown in Italy.

Jaeger chief executive Belinda Earl said: “Stuart Stockdale has joined us to continue to build on Jaeger’s current resurgence as a highly successful design house and repositioning as a luxury, global brand.”

She added: “Stuart’s broad international experience in both design and wholesale will be invaluable in our drive for worldwide expansion and new product development.”
