JD Sports is upsizing its store in Frenchgate Shopping Centre in Doncaster, taking its retail space up to 8,500 sq ft.
The sportswear retailer is relocating to the first floor, adjacent to HMV. To accommodate the move, Dorothy Perkins will move to a 3,600 sq ft store in the ground floor and Miss Selfridge will move into the current Topshop unit.
Meanwhile H&M, Topshop/Topman, Next and Quiz have announced plans to refurbish their current stores in the centre.
Group acquisitions manager at JD Sports, Warren Thompson, said: “The continually strong performance of this store naturally led us to invest and we are confident that the high footfall we receive at Frenchgate will continue to make this one of our most important locations.”
