Womenswear retailer Jigsaw has further bolstered its management team with Fred Perry planning director Richard Gilmore set to become chief operating officer.
Gilmore will join Jigsaw in September and will be responsible for operations, merchandising, trading and logistics. He joins from Fred Perry but has also previously worked at Debenhams, River Island and John Lewis.
Gilmore said: “I am joining Jigsaw at a very exciting time for the brand. Logistical efficiencies, growth in e-commerce and improved merchandising are just some of the areas I will be focusing on.”
Joint chief executive Charles Atterton said the appointments of Gilmore and Ruis are an “investment in Jigsaw’s future”. He added: “We are confident we have found the right executive leadership to take the company forward.”
