Jimmy Choo bolsters board with Hearst publishing director

Jimmy Choo has appointed Hearst Magazines group publishing director Meribeth Parker as an independent non-executive director.

Parker spent four years at US firm Hearst until the end of June. She was previously employed by Hearst-owned National Magazine Company from 2001 to 2011, most recently as group publishing director.

The luxury footwear business has also appointed Anna-Lena Kamenetzky as a non-executive director, replacing Bart Becht, who stepped down to concentrate on his role as non-executive director at cosmetics and perfume company Coty.

Kamenetzky is a partner and head of corporate development of consumer goods investment firm JAB Holding Company, which has a majority stake in Jimmy Choo.

Jimmy Choo chairman Peter Harf said: “Meribeth and Anna-Lena bring a wealth of experience and new perspectives to the board. We would like to thank Bart for all of his hard work in bringing Jimmy Choo to this point.”
