Jimmy Choo launches virtual showroom

Luxury footwear and accessories label Jimmy Choo has launched a virtual showroom that allows customers to view and pre-order its autumn 14 collection before it is available in-store.

Technology from UK-based start-up Avenue Imperial has been used to create an interactive buyers’ showroom, similar to the physical space it presented during Milan Fashion Week in February.

Chief executive Pierre Denis said: “The buyers’ showroom is normally an inner sanctum open only to industry insiders and editors, but we wanted to give our VIP customers a chance to see and shop the new collection first.”

Prices for the Jimmy Choo range from £225 to £1,895 for shoes and £125 to £2,795 for bags.
