JJB reaches agreement with Which? over shirt refunds

JJB Sports could pay out more than £10,000 in refunds to fans who bought replica shirts during 2000 and 2001.

JJB has reached an agreement with consumer group Which? after it took legal action against the sports retailer on behalf of 500 consumers because of price fixing on football shirts.

JJB today agreed to settle the case and said that consumers who took part in Which?’s action would receive £20 per shirt from JJB for England and Manchester United shirts bought during the period in question. Customers who were not part of the Which? action but who can provide proof of purchase for the particular shirts will receive a £10 refund or another shirt.
