Joe Browns doubles warehouse capacity

Etailer Joe Browns is doubling the capacity of its warehouse in preparation for opening its first bricks-and-mortar store.

Next week the business will complete a three-month project that invested £150,000 to improve the efficiency of its warehouse across staffing, pressing equipment, multi-channel retail software, new racking and articulated trucks.

The investment will enable the Leeds-based company to continue operating from its headquarters in Holbeck when it opens its first retail store later this year.

Operations director Tony Brown said: “The venture sows the seed for future growth and efficiencies to fulfil customers growing expectations as we head into retail.”
