John Lewis appoints new head of women’s accessories

John Lewis has appointed Matt Leeser as head of buying for women’s accessories and beauty, starting on March 2.

Lesser, who is currently the retailer’s head of buying for consumer electronics, will replace Amanda Scott, who is joining Ocado to head up its new beauty business in partnership with Marie Claire.

John Lewis said Lesser has a “first rate record of delivery and leadership” and had “considerably developed” its electronics business.
