Fashion sales at John Lewis were up 6% in the week to November 8 as temperatures dropped to a more seasonal norm.
Overall, John Lewis sales, including electricals, home and technology, were up 5.1% on last year.
Online sales rose 17%, driven by fashion sales (up 6%). Strong performers were girls’ onesies, up 86%, and cashmere roll-necks, up 80%.
