John Lewis goes organic with school uniforms

Department store John Lewis has launched a school uniform range made from organic cotton, which is being trialled in five stores. The uniforms, available for boys and girls aged three to 13 years, comprise skirts, tunics, trousers, polo shirts and sweatshirts. The collection is currently available in the retailer's stores in Newcastle upon Tyne, Liverpool, London's Oxford Street and Cribbs Causeway in Bristol, as well as Peter Jones in London. Prices range from £4 to £17.
