John Lewis will launch a limited edition Kin womenswear collection for spring 16.
The 12-piece collection will have the same minimal handwriting as the core Kin by John Lewis range, but with what the retailer has described as a “more directional edge”.
The collection, which is due to drop in six stores and online in March 2016, will feature contrasting textures, lightweight cottons and abstract prints with splashes of neon. Prices will range from £39 to £79.
John Lewis also plans to increase the number of drops for the main Kin ranges from spring 16 onwards, although it declined to give more detail.
Louise Blanchette, buyer for Kin, said: “The limited edition collection is a new venture for the brand, taking graphic inspiration from the city nightscape.
“For spring/summer 16, Kin will have further drops added to the collection, which ensures we can focus on key trends and stretch the breadth of the range, offering more excitement and choice for our customers.”
Kin launched in February 2013 and has become a central part of John Lewis’s own-brand fashion push.
