John Smedley to launch six designer collaborations at LFW

John Smedley has collaborated with six designers on a new range designed to showcase British craftsmanship and UK design talent, which will launch at London Fashion Week.

The Derbyshire knitwear firm has worked with Holly Fulton, Claire Barrow, Phoebe English, Ashley Williams, 1205 and Lou Dalton on The British Fashion Industry x John Smedley range for autumn 16, with support from the British Fashion Council and the UKFT.

“Throughout our long 230 year history, John Smedley has consistently innovated in every era to remain contemporary as a knitwear brand,” said Jess McGuire-Dudley, head of marketing at John Smedley. “Commitment to championing British talent, innovation in design and dedication to quality production are fantastic pillars for us to continue our history of innovation with, and a great way for new designers to start theirs.”
