Jonathan Wall, the former group ecommerce director at Shop Direct, has joined Missguided as chief digital officer.
Wall is responsible for digital marketing, digital development – including its mobile offer and apps – and assisting the Manchester-based etailer to become more agile.
His appointment follows that of former Shop Direct deputy chief executive Gareth Jones, who joined Missguided as CEO of online last month. Wall will report into Jones.
Wall left Shop Direct this summer after seven years. He joined the etailer in 2010 from Flowersdirect.co.uk, where he was chief executive for almost two years.
He has a long history of working in ecommerce and was previously a director at [former BT Group brand] Dabs for more than 11 years. He was named Best Digital Leader at the Drapers Digital Awards 2016.
