Luxury brand Joseph and designer swimwear Orlebar Brown have bolstered the brand mix at Duke of York Square in Chelsea as owner Cadogan Estates plans to develop the area as a “leading fashion destination” in London.
Joseph has operated a a womenswear store for eight years on the square but has now acquired the 900 sq ft premises at 73 Duke of York Square where it will open a menswear only store. Orelbar Brown has leased a 881 sq ft store at 74 Duke of York Square.
The two brands join retailers including premium chain Massimo Dutti, premium denim indie Trilogy and footwear chain LK Bennett which also have stores on the square.
Ana Farrington, retail premises consultant at property company Cadogan Estates, said: “We are excited to welcome both Joseph, a bastion of premium fashion since the 70s, and Orlebar Brown, a hot swimwear brand that is making a name for itself in the capital - both of these brands represent all that is great about British fashion and will be strong additions to Duke of York Square.”
She added: “These brands join a wide range of international and homegrown retailers and we look forward to working with our retail agents in the coming months to bring further big names to the square.”
