John Gunn has joined Joseph Ribkoff as its new CEO as John Ferraro steps down from the role.
Previously CEO and president of Bentley since November 2013, Gunn was also executive vice president at Tommy Hilfiger from 2000 to 2009.
Outgoing Joseph Ribkoff CEO John Ferraro has become executive vice president, design and product development.
Ferraro joined the Canadian womenswear brand in 1993 and has spent the last seven years as CEO.
He said: “We want to take the business to the next level and it’s important for us to find the level of expertise to do that. Design and product development are the two things that excite me the most, and I think it’s a good time for me to lead the creative team and focus more on collections than on the operational side of things.
“I am proud of the changes the company is making and I am happy to be part of its future.”
Gunn added: “We will continue to emphasise Joseph Ribkoff’s ongoing commitment to developing the best ready-to-wear collections and provide the best service to our customers.”
