Sales at lifestyle retailer Joules rose 19.2% in the seven weeks to 7 January, compared with the same period in 2016.
This includes both received and anticipated returns. Retail gross margin over the same period is expected to be “in line with” the previous year.
CEO Colin Porter said: “Both stores and ecommerce channels delivered good growth with the increasing awareness and popularity of the brand.”
At the start of the seven-week period, Joules operated 117 stores, compared with 107 at the same point last year.
Joules will announce its interim results for the 26-week period ended 26 November 2017 on 31 January.
