Streetwear retailer Capology has welcomed the co-founder of luxury fashion retailer Jules B onto its board of directors.
Julian Blades has been approached by Capology to assist with its expansion plans.
Capology’s managing director Olly Henderson said: “After a chance meeting between Greg and Julian, who showed a real interest in Capology, it was a no-brainer to try and get him on board.
“He has more than 27 years of retail and ecommerce experience with a wealth of knowledge to call upon - you just don’t pass up on an opportunity to get a guy of his calibre involved with the project.”
Capology has moved all logistics and operations to a fully equipped 4,500 sq ft warehouse which will act as command centre to its online sector.
The brand, founded by Henderson and brothers John and Greg Hall in 2012, has also bought a new retail premises on High Bridge in Newcastle to add to its flagship store on Grey Street in the city.
Blades has seen significant growth in his own ecommerce division, with a 95% rise in Jules B’s international sales over the last year.
