J.W Anderson joins forces with Nikon

British designer JW Anderson has teamed up with Nikon to create a luxury leather camera bag.

The limited edition bag will coincide with JW Anderson’s spring 14 collection showing at LCM today (June 17).

The 400 exclusive bags come in four colour-ways; black, white, blue and orange and takes inspiration from 1940s camera cases. The unisex bag has space for a camera plus more than one of the system’s interchangeable lenses. This is the first time Nikon has collaborated with a fashion house.

JW Anderson said: “Photography is just as much of an art form as fashion, so the partnership made complete sense to me.

“The inspiration behind the bag was that it would have a hint of a 1940s classic, but with a very modern twist, with bold block colours and a totally unisex look.”

The bag is priced at £85 and will be available at the Nikon online store from today (17 June).

Anderson won the Emerging Talent award at the British Fashion Awards in 2012 and has launched two collections in collaboration with high street retailer Topshop.
