JW Anderson to show at Pitti in June

JW Anderson will showcase his spring 18 men’s collection at Florentine trade show Pitti Uomo in June, as a special guest of the organisers.

Anderson said he was honoured to be asked to show and that Florence’s “beautiful aesthetic” would be the perfect backdrop for the collection.

Northern Ireland-born Anderson launched his menswear label in 2008 and introduced his first women’s collection in 2010. His stockists include Barneys, Opening Ceremony, Dover Street Market, Jeffrey, Selfridges, Le Bon Marché, Isetan, 10 Corso Como, Net-a-Porter, Moda Operandi and MatchesFashion.

It has not yet been confirmed if Anderson will also show at London Fashion Week Men’s.

The next edition of Pitti Uomo will be held from 13-16 June at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence.
