K Swiss has appointed Eric Sarin as the company’s new vice president of product.
In his new role Sarin will be responsible for the brand’s international product strategy, design and development. He will report directly to chief marketing officer at K Swiss, Barney Waters.
Sarin joins K Swiss from Le Coq Sportif where he was most recently global director of product and part of the team responsible for the turnaround of the brand. Prior to Le Coq Sportif, he was international business unit manager at Puma from 2002 to 2008.
Waters said: “Eric is a great combination of creativity and strategic leadership with a very strong global point of view. With K Swiss under new ownership, we plan on bringing the brand back to prominence, and hiring Eric is a big piece of the puzzle.”
K Swiss was acquired by South Korean apparel conglomerate E Land Word for $170m (£108m) in January.
