Designer Louise Goldin has teamed up with US music star Kanye West to create a ready-to-wear label.
According to The Guardian, it is likely the pair will launch their label at New York fashion week, which will be held from September 8 to 15. The label is expected to be luxury and will mainly focus on womenswear.
Goldin has not shown a catwalk collection for the past two seasons and it is now understood that two are working in Goldin’s studio in Clerkenwell, London.
In 2008 West launched an urban streetwear brand called Pastelle but the product did not reach stores. West has also recently made a donation to Central Saint Martins College and has also taken advice from director of the MA fashion course, Professor Louise Wilson.
