Karen Millen relocates Covent Garden store

Karen Millen is relocating its Covent Garden store to a bigger unit across the street.

The old 2,421 sq ft store at 22-23 James Street will close on December 31 and the new 2,648 sq ft store at 2-3 James Street will open on January 16.

It is thought the new store has a better layout, allowing the business to do more with the shop fit.

Karen Millen’s chief executive Mike Shearwood said: “Covent Garden is an iconic site and a strong trading location for us, particularly as it attracts a high level of international visitors.

“We have been fortunate enough to acquire a new site which is effectively configured to allow us to deliver an enhanced client experience.”
