Karen Millen unveiled its new lingerie line this week, and revealed it will launch a swimwear range for spring 08. The retailer's new 40-piece lingerie collection will be sold online and at the brand's flagship store in London's Covent Garden this autumn, as well as in the lingerie area in House of Fraser stores. It will also be stocked in key department stores internationally. The collection has been developed as part of a joint venture between the Karen Millen design team and the Intimates division of parent company Mosaic. Bras, which come in sizes 32 to 36 in B, C and D cups, retail at £32 to £40, with knickers priced at £16 to £24. Karen Millen creative director Gemma Metheringham said extending into swimwear would exploit the retailer's existing lingerie distribution network.
