Footwear brand Kat Maconie will launch in China this year, taking stores in Chengdu, Shanghai and Beijing alongside a transactional website.
The label intends to open 10 additional stores across China in 2015.
The first store to open will be in September in Chengdu Yanlord Plaza, a shopping centre home to stores including Louis Vuitton and Prada.
The British designer has teamed up with Phoenicia International Trading, a company which currently distributes and sells brands including Guess, for the deal. The company will act as producer, distributor and seller of Kat Maconie products across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
Details on the planned expansion into Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau have not yet been disclosed.
Last week Kat Maconie opened its first UK store - a three-day pop-up shop in London’s Convent Garden - carrying the label’s spring 14 bestsellers and older designs.
