Supermodel Kate Moss has filed accounts for her company Skate which show an increase in pre-tax profits to £2.4m in the 12 months to April 30.
Moss, who launched her new collection for French fashion handbag and accessories brand Longchamp last week, saw her finances nosedive in 2009 during the economic downturn.
According to documents filed at Companies House, last year was a bumper year for Moss as Skate generated sales of £3.2m, up from £1.1m the previous year. Pre-tax profits rose to £2.4m, up from £771,172 the year before.
As well as her current collaboration with Longchamp, Moss, who recently got engaged, has also enjoyed past successes with her range in Topshop. Her relationship with the young fashion giant ended last year.
