Kate Moss is to release a new collection for Topshop in April next year following a three-year break from designing for the fashion retailer.
Work has already started on the range which will include approximately forty items including clothing, accessories and footwear. Moss is collaborating once again with Topshop’s creative director Kate Phelan, the in-house design team and stylist Katy England.
The collection will be sold in Topshop stores across forty countries, on the retailer’s website and through the chain’s overseas partners Nordstrom in the US and Galeries Lafayette in Paris.
Sir Phillip Green said Moss was “sorely missed” at Topshop and he is “thrilled” at her return.
It is not yet known if this is to be a long-term deal.
The first Kate Moss for Topshop collection, viewed as major success for the retailer, was unveiled in September 2006, and went on sale in May 2007. The final range designed in collaboration with the model landed in shops in November 2010.
