Kate Spade to open on Regent Street

US-based women’s accessories retailer Kate Spade will open a new store on London’s Regent Street in part of the former Esprit unit.

The retailer will take part of the 26,000 sq ft store at 178-182 Regent Street alongside Hugo Boss, after Esprit closed its store earlier this year.

The front is expected to be redesigned to allow for two separate retailers.

Hugo Boss currently has a slightly smaller flagship at 184-186 Regent Street, which is expected to close, as well as other stores in London including in Canary Wharf and Carnaby Street.

Kate Spade has three stores in London’s Covent Garden, Sloane Square and at Westfield London, as well as an outlet at Bicester Village.
