Kidswear brand Frugi shortlisted for business award

Cornish kidswear brand Frugi has been shortlisted in the small to medium-sized business of the year category in the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.

Founded in 2004 by husband and wife Kurt and Lucy Jewson, Frugi is an ethical brand that caters for newborn to 10-year-olds.

It uses Salisbury-based technology firm MNP Retail’s order management software and has grown by on average 40% every year since its launch. Its current turnover is £6m.

Frugi has 500 stockists in more than 50 countries, including 200 in the UK, and sells via In the UK it is stocked by retailers including John Lewis, as well as independents.

Wholesale prices range from £3.50 for bibs to £23 for a coat.

The National Business Awards take place in London on November 10.
