Kim Winser to launch brand in the US

The former boss of Pringle of Scotland, Aquascutum and Agent Provocateur, Kim Winser, is preparing to launch her latest fashion business in the US.

Winser launched her fashion house Winser London in 2013 and according to the Evening Standard she has now agreed a deal with former banker Jan Niemi, who runs womenswear retailer Flats Napa Valley in California, to take the business to the US this month.

Winser London is already sold online and in six John Lewis stores, three Harvey Nichols outlets and Rossiters of Bath.

The deal in the US will be her second overseas venture. Winser started selling her clothing at the Galleria department store in South Korea earlier this year.

She is also said to be in talks with retailers in Paris and Moscow to do similar joint ventures.

Winser will also launch a pop up sale in London later this month to coincide with London Fashion Week.
