Kurt Geiger to open first Midlands outlet in NEC

Kurt Geiger is opening an outlet store at the NEC’s Resorts World Birmingham on July 1, signalling the first time the fashion brand has had at outlet presence in the Midlands.

Resort World Birmingham is located close to Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International rail station in the NEC complex. It already hosts outlet stores from Next, GAP, H&M and a Nike Factory Store.

The Kurt Geiger outlet will be open from 10am to 8pm from Monday to Saurday and 11am until 5pm on Sunday.

Genting UK launched Resorts World Birmingham in October 2015 following a £150m investment. It currently supports 1,150 full-time jobs in the region.

Managing director Steve Myers hailed the addition on Kurt Geiger to the complex’s list of brands, adding that Genting will “continue to add new stores to our outlet shopping offer in the coming months”.
