Kuyichi opens first UK store

Dutch ethical young fashion brand Kuyichi, has opened its first UK store on Manchester’s King Street.

The store is the first in a planned roll-out of Kuyichi stores across the UK, the Republic of Ireland and France. The retailer plans to open up to ten franchise stores alongside a similar number of company-owned stores.

The menswear and womenswear brand has 500 wholesale stockists in Europe.

Designed by Kuyichi’s in-house team, the 1,363 sq ft Manchester store reflects the brand’s ethical ethos with sustainable wood, natural stone and tropical plants. 

Kuyichi chief executive Leo Cantagalli said: ”We wanted a store that you will not find on every corner of the street and we want to surprise, because we are different. The Manchester store shows ‘The World of Kuyichi’.Uncomplicated, but with good, sustainable products that range from our bags through to our accessories.”
