Lingerie brand La Perla has launched a service that allows shoppers to try items on at home with no obligation to purchase.
Shoppers on the La Perla website can select the “Try & Buy” icon and no charges will be made to the customer’s card until they decide they want to purchase or a 48-hour trial period lapses.
The try-before-you-buy service is available in the UK, US, France, Germany and Italy. La Perla proposes to roll it out across all 40 countries where it has an online presence.
There are also plans to trial two-hour delivery for the try-before-you-buy service, 24-hour live chat with stylists and virtual fitting room with an inventory of previous La Perla purchases.
