Lacoste to launch sub-brand

Clothing and footwear brand Lacoste will launch a new sub-brand in autumn aimed at a younger customer.

The label, named Lacoste Live, will have its own branding, design team and own marketing campaign, according to reports.

Some 60 dedicated Lacoste Live stores will open in the next few months, in cities such as London, New York, Berlin, Zurich and Tokyo.

Prices will be similar to other Lacoste products, for example polos at $79.50 (£53) , denim at $130 (£87) to $175 (£117) and jackets at $125 (£83).The products will be a slimmer fit than usual and feature optic prints and zigzag stripes.
