Federica Marchionni has stepped down from her role as chief executive of lifestyle retailer Lands’ End and resigned as a director.
Marchionni joined the firm in February 2015 from Dolce & Gabbana, where she was US president.
Joseph Boitano, executive vice president and chief merchandising and design officer, and James Gooch, executive vice president and chief operating and financial officer, have been appointed co-interim chief executives with immediate effect.
The Lands’ End board has enlisted the help of global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles, to assist with identifying a permanent CEO. The search will consider both internal and external candidates.
