US lifestyle retailer Lands’ End made its full-price bricks-and-mortar debut in the UK this week, with five concessions in House of Fraser stores set to be trading across England by the end of September.
The first opened at HoF’s Intu Lakeside in Essex and Norwich stores on August 18 and 22 respectively. Three more in Birmingham, Bournemouth and Bristol will open on September 1, 4 and 9 respectively.
The concessions have a floor space of 600 sq ft on average and will stock a selection of Lands’ End’s autumn 14 women’s casualwear and accessories. If successful, the brand will look to include menswear and kidswear.
Lands’ End, whose global headquarters is in Wisconsin, has operated as a catalogue retailer in the UK since 1993 and has a transactional UK website plus an outlet store in Rutland, in the East Midlands.
