Longstanding Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz is leaving the French luxury fashion house after 14 years.

Members of his design team are understood to have been informed of his exit this morming and all Lanvin employees were called into a meeting this afternoon in Paris, according to WWD.com.
The move is thought to have come following disagreements between the Israeli designer and company owner Shaw-Lan Wang and chief executive Michèle Huiban.
Last week Raf Simons resigned from Christian Dior citing personal reasons.
Elbaz is thought to be a likely candidate to be named as a successor.
Lanvin has not yet responded to Drapers’ request for comment.
