Yoox Net-A-Porter orders peaked at one every 0.7 seconds this Black Friday as customers bought partywear and exclusive luxury collections.
Statement party wear performed well for the group. Yoox sold a £9,000 evening gown on Cyber Monday and The Outnet sales included two gowns at over £3,000 each.
Coats and jackets were particularly popular with Mr Porter customers, including the sale of a peacot for £6,500 and a bomber jacket for £5,900.
The results matched the group’s findings that 65% of customers were intending to treat themselves over the festive period, published in a report last week.
Apps performed well, with downloads of the Mr Porter app up 40% over Black Friday weekend and it being ranked in the top 100 shopping category for 14 countries in the Apple app store. Yoox registered over 100,000 new downloads of its app across Android and Apple.
