Christopher Raeburn appointed creative director of Timberland

Timberland has appointed London designer Christopher Raeburn as its new global creative director.

The new appointment coincides with today’s launch of a capsule collaboration between Timberland and the designer comprising outerwear, trousers, shirts and T-shirts.

Established in 2010, Raeburn’s eponymous lifestyle brand shares a focus on sustainability with Timberland.

Global brand president of Timberland Jim Pisani said: “Christopher Raeburn is a true visionary, who shares our ethos of responsibility and brings to the table a fresh, modern design sensibility.”

The first collection under Raeburn will be autumn 20.

He said: “I see an incredible opportunity for Timberland to break out and put responsible, innovative design at the centre of the brand’s creative strategy.”
